Jason Stoch, CPA, CA

Jason is an Australian expat living in the U.S. He is a Certified Public Accountant (U.S.) and Chartered Accountant (CAANZ). Jason spent several years living in New York City and now resides in San Diego.

When he first moved to the U.S., Jason quickly discovered that none of the traditional accounting firms were able to cater to his expat situation. To ensure he was compliant, he decided to file his own tax returns. When other Australian expats heard about Jason, they began reaching out to him for assistance. Word of mouth spread and eventually Uptrend Advisory was established.

Jason founded Uptrend Advisory and currently serves as the Managing Director. With over 10 years experience, he has developed his unique expertise of the Australian and U.S. tax systems. Jason has helped hundreds of expats living in the U.S and abroad. He and his team are passionate about helping clients navigate the two countries' tax systems.

Gustavia Robinson

Gustavia Robinson is a Senior Tax Accountant with over 15 years of accounting experience in both Private and Public Accounting. 

Gustavia is a Registered Tax Return Preparer with the IRS. She has extensive education and training, and remains up to date on the tax code for compliance. 

Gustavia enjoys assisting clients with their annual tax compliance as well as tax strategy. She is experienced in claiming foreign tax credits for tax paid to other countries to avoid double taxation on foreign income where possible, as well as preparing basic (FBAR) and more complex international forms (PFICs).

As a Senior Tax Accountant at Uptrend Advisory, she is committed to providing outstanding services and building long-term relationships with clients.
